Carrageenan rationalisation


A major multinational approached CyberColloids to rationalise their purchasing of carrageenan.  The project had the potential to have substantial savings if successful.


CyberColloids undertook to analyse over 20 samples provided by the client from the range of carrageenans purchased by the client.  The brief was to analyse the carrageenans and to group them according to similar properties.  Grouping like this allowed the purchasing of carrageenan to be streamlined resulting in potential savings of $1m/annum.
